Status of other host hardware object – system management software 1 sel fullness

I have a LENOVO System x3650 M5, I got a critical event on this server “Status of other host hardware object” when I read the detail I found out it’s related to one of my hardware component named “system management software 1 sel fullness” . It seems a false error and you can get ride of it by following steps:

  1. Go to the vCenter Server > Hosts and Clusters > select your ESXi host
  2. Go to the monitor tab then select Hardware status tab

3.Finally go to the each sections (Sensors, Alerts and warnings, System event log ) and press Reset Sensors and update
