Creating a Management Cluster is a key step in setting up your Telco Cloud environment. Here’s how to do it using the TCA UI:
Login to TCA UI
Open the TCA web interface and log in with your credentials.
Navigate to Templates
Go to Infrastructure > Cluster Templates.
Click “Create Template”
Select “Create Cluster Template” and provide a name and optional description.
Configure Node Settings
Specify the number of control plane and worker nodes, CPU/memory resources, and any taints or labels needed.
Because I want to just test functionality, to reduce the amount of resource usage I reduce the number of replica to 1 for master and worker node
Click “Create Cluster”
Choose Cluster Type: Management.
I will select the template that I have just created
The important point here is to download a TCA compatible image from Broadcom website, which is under TCA download >> Drivers and ISO tab.
This would be a BYOI image
I will define the networks for master and worker node
and click on deploy
Management cluster is ready
